THE FIRST SWIMRUN IN THE FLORIDA KEYS

Consisting of multiple, alternating SWIMMING and overland-running distances between Cudjoe Key and Key West (Ocean, island roads, trails, and shoreline scrambles). This adventure will test competitors on swimming/running endurance over approximately 50km of varied terrain and 5km of open-water swimming.
The open-water swimming will require sighting and navigating strategies to accomplish an estimated finishing time of 7-10 Hours. Kwest will put you on the path of florida keys.

Remaining true to the originators of the SwimRun, KWEST is a two- person team race.
Rules permit swimming aids such as hand paddles, pull buoys, wetsuits and even swim fins, to name a few. Certain safety gear is obligatory by race rules, but what you start with you must also finish with.
KWEST has limited participation slots divided in 3 team categories: Men, Women & Mixed.
Selection will be made on merit consideration. Applicants will be required to submit a summary of each person's record of competitive achievement,which should include endurance and/or adventure racing, Ironman or other long- distance triathlon, multi-sport or ultra-distance competitions. Race organizers will have sole discretion of selection among merit team candidates.
